As we head into the new year there will be a flood of products and companies making promises to people eager to meet their resolutions for 2017. Looking back over the past year and the progress I was able to make in my health and fitness journey, one product really stands out that aided me throughout the struggles of old injuries flaring up. Sweet Sweat by Sports Research was a product I came across through fitness enthusiast and gym owner Jen Heward. She used the product with the accompanying waist trimmer in many of her workouts and showed the immediate, tangible results of what appeared to be "super sweat". Of course, being skeptical of any new product, I decided to do a little research and see if this workout enhancer was all it was cracked up to be. What caught my eye when reading their product description was the following:
If you havent seen my "Ice Breaker" video, you may not know that I have struggled over the years with joint pain in my knees and shoulders, stiffness and aching in my low back as well as troublesome shouler impingement after two rear-ending accidents in 2013. Needless to say, exercise has been a struggle at times with setbacks over the past year that requiredrepeat sessions of physical therapy as recently as this past fall. After reading the claims of the Sweet Sweat Product, I felt it was worth a try to see if it would alleviate my discomfort during exercise. I ordered the waist trimmer as well because I've never been a big sweater, and felt it could help kick things up a bit during my workouts. I took the leap of faith, and after almost one year of using this product, I'm happy to say its changed my life in a big way! My personal results with this product have been nothing short of amazing. Here are the benefits I have had using Sweet Sweat during my workouts: -Significant reduction of stiffness and pain in my shoulders and knees during exercise. -Increased mobility (as a result of the above) which has allowed me greater range of motion when performing exercises. -Noticeable core warm-up using the gel and waist trimmer together, which increases caloric burn and intensity during my workouts. -Reduced soreness post exercise. -Increased flexibility during stretching (this helps a lot with recovery, and since stiff, cold muscles dont stretch well and can even result in muscle strains and pulls this is so important to aid in muscle repair after a tough workout!) -Significantly increased sweating on areas applied. Well, that pretty well sums up my experience with Sweet Sweat, and I hope it has been helpful for you to hear my personal results with this awesome product. I've referred it to several friends who have had similar results as well! You don't have to take my word for it, but I urge you to try the product for yourselves and see what it can do. I'll post a link below to their website, and its also available on Amazon.com. If you decide to purchase through them directly, they also offer a coupon code for first time customers: take20offsr One final note: I also emailed the company (which I'd like to note has great customer sercice) to get a more detailed explanation of the claims of the product. Here's their reply:
"1) During physical activity, Sweet Sweat may increase your circulation/blood flow by up to 4x. 2) By increasing your blood flow your body's natural ability to warm up more quickly and heal itself kicks in. The joint pain and soreness are lessened because of the increase in circulation and oxygen to your joints and muscles. 3) Sweet Sweat helps get the lactic acid sitting in your system to mobilize and eliminate itself much faster allowing your to get into your workout quicker and with less aches and pains." If you decide to try Sweet Sweat out, you will need a towel handy! You will do some serious sweating! And for one last tip, if you are using this with the waist trimmer, it helps to tuck your towel under the bottom edge of it before you take it off to help catch the sweat that will have accumulated during your workout. I hope you find this review helpful, happy sweating my friends! 💦
